Fees and Payment

Applications are free. Tuition is a single program assessment fee, paid once after your application is approved: USD 69 for a bachelor's, USD 99 for a master's, and USD 199 for a doctorate. Under the 2026 Life in Christ Grant those are reduced from original Life Seminary tuition of USD 39,900, USD 59,900, and USD 89,900. The fee covers the Program Qualifying Examination, unlimited repeat sittings, the electronic degree, and its verification page, with no term renewal, no per-examination fee, and no retake fee, so completing a degree costs USD 69, USD 99, or USD 199 in total. Nothing further is charged after the degree is issued.

  • Payment is accepted by debit or credit card through Stripe, our payment processor.
  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and most international debit cards are supported.
  • Applicants must confirm with their bank that international payments in US dollars are enabled.
  • Currency conversion and international transaction charges applied by your bank are not included in the published Life Seminary amount.

Common questions

Studying from outside the United States

Do I need a visa or to travel to the United States?

No. The application, degree plan, qualifying examination, and issued credential can all be completed without travel or relocation. No immigration status is required.

Is the examination available in my time zone?

Yes. There is no fixed sitting time. You open the paper when you are ready, and the sixty-minute limit runs from the moment you begin, whatever the hour where you are.

Does the seminary teach or examine in languages other than English?

Coursework and examinations are in English. Applicants are expected to read and respond to academic theological material in English; there is no formal test score requirement.

My bank charged a slightly different amount. Why?

The fee is charged in US dollars. If your account is held in another currency, your own bank sets the conversion rate and may add its own international transaction fee. The seminary receives only the published USD amount.

Will my degree be recognised in my country?

Recognition is decided by each receiving body, and the seminary publishes its accreditation, its degree plans, and a permanent verification page precisely so an ordaining council, employer, or ministry can check the record directly.

What if my internet connection is unreliable?

The paper is loaded into your browser, where drawing, timing, answer state, and marking all run without a Worker request while the examination is open. If a sitting is interrupted beyond recovery, a repeat sitting opens after the standard cooling-off period at no cost.
